Chad Taylor and Me Wow! Well had the chance tonight to see The Gracious Few again! Luckily my folks were in town and could watch the kids so my wife and I could have a night out. We caught the band at the Bourbon Street Ballroom (formerly Hammerjacks) in Baltimore. It was a great show, and for a bargain of $10! Yeah, I said $10! You can't find that anymore with live music, at all. The openers, yeah, not so great at all. However, The Gracious Few were awesome! What a show! Only a few times have I seen a concert where it breaks in the middle of the show (or anywhere in the show) for an acoustic set, or something similar. The band did an entire set that they called "the front porch," where it was just them in a semi-circle with very little plugged in, doing some stripped down blues, etc. Wild! I took my Live/Chad Gracey drumsticks that I caught in the air at a show a few years ago to get signed. And I had a chance to talk with the band again, and so did Melissa. Great music, great night!
