Jackson and Jessica Today we took the kids trick or treating. Jessica was Jessie from Toy Story, and Jackson was a monkey. It was a little different this time around since we are in NC for my brother's wedding. So we took the kids around a neighboring community to my parents. They live a decent distance away from an actual community. Their house is among some others, but split up by some large pieces of property. It was nice this year since my son, Jackson, could walk almost the whole way on his own. We only had one small issue, and that was that he almost walked into a person's house two times. Beyond that, a good times!

Jessica & Margaret Kerry I can't remember if I've mentioned this before, but I'm a big autograph hound/collector. To me, getting autographs, is like locking a moment in time. This is especially true if you're able to get signatures from musicians after a performance, athletes after a game, or even artists at a gallery opening, etc. Well, today I had the chance to take my daughter along to a show I normally hit every year in Chantilly, VA put on by CSA. There wasn't anyone at this show that I was particularly interested in because I'm getting to the point where I only need/want certain people or items. However, there was someone there that I know my daughter would've liked to see. I took her down with me to see Margaret Kerry. Mrs. Kerry is the person who modeled for the animation of Tinkerbell, from the Disney movie, Peter Pan. She was signing autographs for a minimal fee, and most of that went to charity. She was absolutely great with my daughter; signed her DVD, posed for pictures, and talked to her for a good while. Jessica had a great time, and it was a nice little Daddy/daughter day! |
